• ADHD is one of the most common neurodevelopment disorders of childhood.

• 6 in 10 children with ADHD have at least one other condition such as anxiety, behavior or conduct problem. Other conditions affecting children with ADHD: depression, autism spectrum disorder, and Tourette syndrome.

• About half of children with ADHD have a behavior or conduct problem. About 3 in 10 children with ADHD have anxiety.

• Untreated ADHD can cause academic and occupational underachievement, difficulties with personal relationships, and substance abuse.
